Scott was born in Anchorage, Alaska and has since lived in Texas and Mississippi with his family while attending schools in Maine, Massachusetts, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Scott's love of travel was first inspired by his grandparents. His grandfather was a recreational pilot who owned his own plane, hangar, and airstrip near current day Houston Hobby Airport (HOU). In addition, Scotts parents would travel domestically and internationally for business and shared their love of adventure, food and culture with Scott, his older brother Wade, and younger sister Lisa. Along with exposing them to a multitude of international cuisine, they also enjoyed performing arts as well as a wide variety of music. Being raised hearing the tales of their travels and as he grew up, Scott was also blessed to travel with his family, mostly by car. He experienced amazing destinations, cultures, and scenery inside the United States which further flamed his passion for travel.

While attending high school in Maine, Scott was introduced to photography, which continues to be a favorite hobby today. His love of photography combined with his sense of adventure inspires Scott to continue exploring the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities all over the world, to include visiting and photographing many of our National Parks. Scott is currently a member of the Photography Team on the Armed Forces Appreciation Committee of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

To anyone who knows Scott, it is no surprise that he accepted a position with a national outdoor retailer. Over his tenure, Scott worked his way into an opportunity to assist in developing their sales training program, rolling it out company-wide, training trainers, and assisting with the training of new staff. His expertise allowed him the opportunity to help open new locations across the country. This introduced Scott to what quickly became a new passion. Training and assisting others in becoming successful has continued to be a passion today.  Scott has since had the opportunity to provide training in the retail, travel, and real estate industries.

Scott is a co-founder of PREMIER CUSTOM TRAVEL and currently serves as Vice President and Groups Coordinator. Over the past 12+ years working in the travel industry, Scott has made many industry friends and continues to grow his passion for adventure while being allowed to help clients select their best vacation option. When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.

Scott married his wife Michelle in the fall of 2005. They currently reside in Willis, TX with their cats. When not working, Scott and Michelle enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as kayaking, cycling, and hiking. They are both active committee volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and enjoy spending time with friends at live theater events, culinary experiences, as well as cooking with family.  Believe it or not, Scott is a very good cook.
